About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Team Member to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality food to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food according to recipe and portion control
  • Supervise and train junior staff members
  • Bake, roast, steam, broil, and cook food to a high standard
  • Responsible for presentation and garnishment of dishes
  • Provide exceptional customer service and promote a positive dining experience
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

  • Journeyman's papers or Red Seal certification
  • Four years of progressive culinary experience in a large kitchen
  • Meet departmental standards for Prep Line Cook in all areas of the kitchen
  • Well-rounded in all areas of the kitchen with a basic knowledge of pastry
  • Demonstrate leadership and training skills
  • Proficient in Garde Manger, Hot Kitchen, and Line Cooking
  • Participate in a three-course cooking test during the interview process
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in an appropriate manner
