About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUN SET GRILL. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation and portioning
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory and equipment maintenance
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
