Job Description

Job Title: Procurement Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Lead to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the organization's purchasing and procurement functions, ensuring the effective management of suppliers, and maintaining accurate inventory systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless inventory management and logistics.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics to measure supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure accurate and timely inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or inventory management.
  • APICS certification or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
