Position Overview

6ix Construction Ltd is seeking a dedicated Carpentry Apprentice to join our skilled team. This role is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow in the carpentry field.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to assess project requirements.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials including wood and lightweight steel.
  • Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect wall and roof systems.
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
  • Coordinate and schedule work activities on construction sites.
  • Survey building locations and assess levels.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial wooden structures.
