Carpenter - Construction and Renovation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Global West Development Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of our construction and renovation projects.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-construction and planning: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Site management: Prepare tenders and quotations, schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, estimate costs and materials.
- Construction and renovation: Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems, fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Maintenance and repair: Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
- Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
- Work site environment: Outdoors.
- Work setting: Construction, renovation, commercial, residential.
- Level of expertise: Maintenance and repair.
- Security and safety: Criminal record check.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, physically demanding, tight deadlines.
- Personal suitability: Accurate, client focus, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, permanent position, 35 to 40 hours per week, English language.
