Skilled Carpenter

HOMEFLEX BUILDERS is seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpenter to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the construction of high-quality residential structures.
Responsibilities- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to accurately understand project requirements.
- Prepare layouts and measurements according to building codes and industry standards.
- Utilize a variety of hand tools and power equipment to cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood, composites, and steel.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, erect walls, and assemble roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware with precision.
- Survey building sites to ensure accurate leveling and alignment.
- Estimate material costs and quantities for projects.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a Carpenter.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power equipment common to carpentry work.
- Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in various outdoor conditions. You will be required to lift heavy objects, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
