Job Type: Seasonal Hourly Contract (Mar – Nov)

Compensation: $24-$27/hour plus % of team gratuity program

Opportunity:

As the Senior Sous Chef, you will play a crucial role in crafting the dining experience our guests will cherish. From their arrival, you will contribute to creating lasting memories by delivering an exceptional experience that complements our award-winning wines.

Daily Responsibilities:

  • Monitor culinary staffing levels and stock levels.
  • Build upon existing relationships with local farms and purveyors.
  • Communicate respectfully with direct and indirect reports.
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus and events.
  • Understand food and wine pairings.
  • Understand and execute organizational systems to ensure efficiency of day-to-day operations.
  • Assist in the hiring and training of seasonal staff.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 Years of Previous Culinary Experience
  • Red Seal Certification an Asset
  • Previous Private Events & Catering Experience an Asset
  • Food Safe Level 2 Certification
  • Experience and Knowledge of Wine and Food Pairing
  • Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal & communications skills.
  • Ability to Multitask and has an Attention to Detail
  • Open Availability Scheduling
