Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager - Field Services to oversee projects at various customer locations. This role is pivotal in managing technical, financial, and scheduling aspects of contracts, ensuring effective resource allocation for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage large-scale projects, including those with multiple contracts or innovative elements, while mitigating significant risks.
  • Oversee all phases of project management, from proposal development to project closure.

General Duties

  • Collaborate with clients to analyze project requirements, devise strategies, and formulate execution plans.
  • Direct multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, project planning, quality assurance, and field operations.
  • Foster effective communication and accountability within teams.
  • Manage technical, cost, and scheduling requirements for assigned contracts.

Proposal Development

  • Identify project opportunities, lead proposal teams, and develop comprehensive proposal packages.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment and compliance with customer requirements.

Pre-Deployment Management

  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings to establish governance and align stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage schedules and budgets to accurately forecast resource needs.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet specifications prior to deployment.

Execution Oversight

  • Conduct project governance activities, manage execution, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Oversee financial management, including billing and collections.

Project Closure

  • Finalize project deliverables and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and improve future performance.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or a related field, with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of nuclear engineering principles and project management.
  • Proven experience in managing complex nuclear projects, including construction and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate large teams effectively.
  • Expertise in budget management, risk assessment, and technical problem-solving.
