Food Safety Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Safety Specialist to join our team at PSSI. As a Food Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform PSSI's verified 8-Step Sanitation process to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential food safety risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement food safety protocols and procedures
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance knowledge and skills in food safety and sanitation
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in food safety and sanitation or a related field
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull sanitation equipment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and attention to detail
