We are a dynamic and innovative restaurant group seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Suisha Gardens.

Job Summary

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our culinary team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to optimize menu pricing and inventory management.
  • Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff, promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers, ensuring seamless kitchen operations.
  • Create new recipes that showcase our culinary expertise and appeal to diverse customer tastes.
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food, promoting consistency and quality.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, such as banquets, ensuring exceptional presentation and taste.
  • Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure a smooth kitchen operation.
  • Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards, considering dietary restrictions and customer preferences.
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
  • Recruit and hire staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Supervise activities of sous-chefs, specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks, ensuring effective kitchen operations.
  • Lead and instruct individuals, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Requirements
  • 3-4 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Proven track record of menu development, kitchen operations, and team leadership.
  • Safe Food Handling certificate and other relevant certifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and high pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a physically demanding environment.
