Job Title: Public Transit Bus Driver

We are seeking a skilled Public Transit Bus Driver to join our team at Signature Charters Inc. As a Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation services to passengers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide sightseeing information to passengers
  • Assist passengers with fare information and schedules
  • Report delays, accidents, and mechanical issues to management
  • Load and unload the vehicle safely and efficiently
  • Ensure passenger safety during emergencies and critical situations
  • Handle difficult passengers with professionalism and courtesy
  • Communicate effectively using radio systems and other communication tools
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
  • Driver's Licence (Class 2 or B or C)
Experience in:
  • Operating buses and other transportation vehicles
Security and Safety:
  • Pass a thorough criminal record check and driving record check
  • Undergo regular drug testing to ensure a safe working environment
Work Conditions:
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, including luggage and equipment
