Job Summary

Driver Seat Calgary is seeking a skilled School Bus Driver to join our team. As a School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from school, while ensuring their safety and well-being during transit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Operations
    • Operate school buses to transport students to and from school, following established routes and schedules.
    • Ensure the safety and security of students during transit, including emergency evacuation procedures.
  • Logistics and Maintenance
    • Complete logbooks and reports to document vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data.
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school administrators, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • Valid Driver's Licence (Class 2 or B or C)
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a school bus driver or in a related field.
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Work Environment

As a School Bus Driver with Driver Seat Calgary, you will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with students, parents, and school administrators on a daily basis. You will be required to work a regular schedule, with occasional overtime as needed.
