Dedicated Charter Bus Driver

Become a vital part of First Transit Canada, where our drivers ensure safe, dependable, and efficient transportation for countless individuals daily.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Primarily assigned to charter services during school route hours;
  • Operate buses safely, courteously, and reliably across the Greater Toronto Area;
  • Overnight trips may be part of the role;
  • Conduct pre and post-trip vehicle inspections as necessary;
  • Inform passengers of applicable rules and regulations when required;
  • Complete and submit detailed reports regarding passengers and any incidents;
  • Fulfill all tasks assigned by the company, including covering school routes and standby duties.
Qualifications:
  • Strong focus on safety;
  • Ability to drive long distances with knowledge of Ontario's geographic areas;
  • Familiarity with CVOR regulations and highway logbook requirements;
  • Comfortable navigating adverse road and weather conditions;
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance and take pride in keeping the bus tidy;
  • Willingness to adapt to regular changes;
  • Customer-oriented mindset to provide exceptional service;
  • Possess a valid B license;
  • Minimum of 3 years driving experience;
  • Excellent communication abilities;
  • Able to work flexible hours and shifts as assigned.
