Position Overview

We are in search of a seasoned and proactive Sales Director to spearhead our sales division and drive revenue expansion for our direct sales channel. The ideal candidate will possess a robust history of success in SaaS sales, outstanding leadership capabilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer value. As the Sales Director, you will be instrumental in formulating and executing our sales strategy, broadening our customer base, and cultivating a high-performance sales environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to meet and surpass revenue objectives.
  • Team Management: Guide, mentor, and motivate a high-achieving sales team while fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
  • Sales Process Enhancement: Develop and continually refine sales processes, tools, and methodologies to maximize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Client Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities while building and nurturing strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Market Insights: Conduct thorough market research to grasp industry trends, customer requirements, and the competitive landscape. Utilize insights to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate sales performance, providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation to achieve business goals.
  • HubSpot Proficiency: Leverage HubSpot for CRM management, sales automation, and analytics, ensuring the sales team effectively utilizes HubSpot to enhance productivity and insights.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Over 10 years in SaaS sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity. Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a knack for inspiring and motivating a diverse sales team.
  • Strategic Mindset: Excellent skills in strategic planning and execution, with the ability to devise and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Customer-Centric: Profound understanding of customer needs and the ability to forge lasting relationships. Exceptional negotiation and closing capabilities.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities to interpret sales data and market trends. Familiarity with CRM and sales analytics tools, particularly HubSpot.
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
  • HubSpot Expertise: Proficient in utilizing HubSpot for CRM, sales automation, and analytics, with experience in optimizing HubSpot for sales productivity and insights.
  • Microsoft / M365 Knowledge: Familiarity with the Microsoft / M365 ecosystem is a plus, with knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and related technologies being highly desirable.
