Position Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, the Data & Systems Analyst will provide essential support to our business unit, focusing on data analytics, software assistance, and electronic work packages for various projects. This role encompasses continuous risk assessment and reporting across safety, quality, production, and cost metrics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, manage, and analyze data to uncover trends that support diverse projects.
  • Develop modeling techniques based on data collection methods, creating automated workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize statistical and process analysis methods to aid in the planning, training, and execution phases of projects.
  • Collaborate with projects and divisions to identify and implement process improvement and digital transformation opportunities.
  • Create reports, procedures, and processes as necessary.
  • Provide ongoing assistance to clients and project teams.
  • Coordinate with vendors for the development, troubleshooting, maintenance, and upgrades of new software.
  • Design and deliver training for the nuclear division on new software and technologies.
  • Become a subject matter expert in key software applications utilized within the nuclear division.
  • Independently manage and schedule your time effectively, considering the plans of others.

Qualifications

  • Proficient understanding of business intelligence platforms, particularly with Microsoft products such as Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Excel.
  • Basic knowledge of gateway applications related to business intelligence platforms.
  • Ability to design and implement databases that support the business unit's needs.
  • Experience in data collection, management, and trend analysis to support business objectives.
  • Competence in applying statistical and process analysis techniques to drive effective business solutions.
  • Post-secondary education in Data Analytics or Engineering disciplines.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data analytics or project engineering within a construction or EPC environment.
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication abilities.
