As an Infrastructure Systems Specialist at IPG Photonics, you will be instrumental in the upkeep and protection of our worldwide IT framework. We seek a proactive individual with a background in IT support, infrastructure management, and problem resolution. If you possess a meticulous approach, strong analytical capabilities, and a customer-centric attitude, you will thrive in our vibrant IT department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation
  • Ensure adherence to established policies and procedures
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend enhancements
  • Deliver IT support for both local and remote operations, including after-hours assistance
  • Manage system updates and vulnerability assessments
  • Resolve IT service requests efficiently
  • Install and configure infrastructure systems
  • Oversee maintenance of end-user workstations
  • Engage in incident response calls as required
  • Administer various IT services such as Active Directory and Citrix
  • Monitor system performance and analyze for potential issues
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years in infrastructure support roles
  • Practical experience with Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Veeam, and similar technologies
  • Familiarity with SSL Certificates and monitoring solutions
  • Exceptional troubleshooting abilities
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-driven with a keen eye for detail
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment
  • Familiarity with Office 365 migrations
  • Proficiency in SSO and PowerShell scripting
  • Understanding of networking and merger/acquisition processes
Education & Certifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
  • Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and Cloud technologies are advantageous
