Position Overview

The role of the Food Service Supervisor involves overseeing daily operations within a fast-paced culinary environment. This position is essential for ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a supervisory role within the food service industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective work schedules to meet operational needs.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare budget forecasts and cost estimates.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit operational reports.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of 1 to 10 food service counter attendants and food preparers.
