- Conditions: The work environment may be noisy, with odours and heat present.
- Setting: This position is based in a food service establishment, providing on-site customer service, including fast food outlets or concessions.
- Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service standards are consistently met.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit relevant reports as required.
- Possess knowledge of the culinary genres relevant to the establishment.
- Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
This position involves supervising a team of 5-10 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
