Position Overview

The role of a Food Services Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our culinary department. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage staff and maintain high standards of food quality and service.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
  • Order necessary food and kitchen supplies to maintain operations.
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
  • Provide training to staff regarding their job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Assess the ingredients and supplies needed for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Prepare financial budgets and cost projections.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or issues effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Compile and submit operational reports.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the culinary team.
  • Possess knowledge of the establishment's culinary offerings.
  • Supervise the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food carts.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Supervision of 1 to 2 staff members is expected.
