About the Role

VIVA CARE MEDICAL is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Administrative Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Patient Information: Ensure accurate and timely flow of patient information, including medical records and test results.
  • Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and confirm patient appointments, ensuring seamless communication with healthcare providers and patients.
  • Manage Insurance Claims: Process and complete insurance claims, ensuring timely reimbursement and minimal delays.
  • Maintain Filing Systems: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and electronic.
  • Prepare Medical Reports: Enter and format medical reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets for review and approval.
  • Support Meetings: Prepare draft agendas, take minutes, and distribute meeting notes to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with attention to detail required.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, quick learner, and able to work effectively in a team.
Working Conditions
  • Language: English.
  • Hours of Work: 30 hours per week.
