Job Summary

VIVA CARE MEDICAL is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our healthcare professionals and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and Manage Information: Ensure the accurate and timely flow of information between patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance companies.
  • Schedule and Confirm Appointments: Coordinate patient appointments and confirm schedules with healthcare professionals.
  • Process Insurance Claims: Complete and submit insurance claims and other forms in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintain Filing Systems: Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems for patient records and other important documents.
  • Prepare Reports and Documents: Enter and format medical reports and correspondence, and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Respond to patient inquiries, resolve issues, and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a medical administrative role.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
