Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team at Drake International. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in supporting our manufacturing facility in Cornwall, Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:- Verify shipping and receiving inspections and documents
- Assist plant departments with purchasing, creating purchase orders, sourcing local suppliers, and coordinating contractors
- Work closely with the Account Payable department to ensure accurate and timely documentation
- Evaluate supplier performance in collaboration with the Quality Manager
- Assist the Plant Manager and Production Manager with production reporting and finished product inventory counts
- Prepare meeting minutes for all plant meetings
- Assist with payroll, benefits, and communications for head office
- Greet visitors and ensure new visitors adhere to plant Quality and Safety protocols
- Knowledge of plant production, GMPs, HACCP principles, and Occupational Health and Safety programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to technology
- Experience with accounting software an asset
- Highly motivated and organized with excellent communication skills
- Reliable, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a strong team player mentality
