Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director Business Analysis MCCR, GFT to lead our team of business analysts in delivering high-performing applications for our clients in the financial sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end functional requirements for Market and Counterparty Credit Risk, including Large Capital Market Programs, New Entity Work, and Large Transformational programs like CCR Modernization.
  • Co-chair the MCCR Design Council to ensure all design decisions of various products adhere to overall T&O and GRM Strategy.
  • Resolve complex issues and conflicts, including architectural direction vs. project constraints, and escalate to executive level where required.
  • Establish and maintain strong business partnerships with GRM stakeholders, providing technology advice and direction.
  • Collaborate with Risk IT & GRM peers to ensure that all dimensions of Risk IT are aligned and optimally delivering business analysis support.
  • Manage the MCCR team of business analysts, ensuring adequate resourcing and delivery for all products and projects.
  • Grow the Business Analyst presence and talent in the Tech Hubs (Halifax and Vancouver).
Requirements
  • 15+ years of Lead Business Analysis experience with demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Experience leading requirements and functional architecture for large programs with a high level of value (benefit/cost), and very high level of complexity and uncertainty.
  • Has provided functional architecture support for large cross-enterprise programs/projects.
  • Expert knowledge of Market and Counterparty Credit Risk and Group Risk Management Functions within a Financial Service Organization.
  • Advanced communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of the industries that comprise the financial sector (banking, investment, insurance, trust).
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant technology, standards, methodologies, and audit requirements.
