Compensation: $17.00 Per Hour
ResponsibilitiesAs a Culinary Services Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations within the food service department. Your key duties will include:
- Supervising team members to ensure all primary and secondary responsibilities are met.
- Monitoring food preparation, service, and storage to comply with health and safety regulations.
- Managing staff schedules to optimize efficiency.
- Overseeing inventory management and ensuring adequate supplies are ordered and stocked.
- Preparing food order summaries and conducting quality control checks.
- Addressing any issues that arise during shifts promptly.
- Providing ongoing guidance and coaching to team members.
- Training and orienting new staff using the established training system.
- Engaging with guests in a friendly manner and professionally resolving any complaints.
- Handling cash procedures and ensuring accurate reconciliation at the end of shifts.
- Ensuring adherence to all restaurant policies and procedures during shifts.
- Completing necessary documentation related to stock, sales, and wastage.
- Reporting team member performance to the Restaurant Manager.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
