IT Cybersecurity Officer
This role is a pivotal position within the IT department and reports directly to the Operations Manager, Information Technology. The IT Cybersecurity Officer is tasked with the implementation, upkeep, and oversight of information security systems. Furthermore, they are responsible for formulating policies and procedures that govern the security practices of the organization. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and possess robust procedural and technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and propose an annual resource strategy that supports Corporate Security initiatives.
  • Conduct assessments of security risks and investigate any violations.
  • Coordinate efforts to devise solutions for data security challenges.
  • Offer guidance on matters of data security, integrity, and privacy.
  • Create and uphold security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of the data security program.
  • Plan, organize, and manage projects to successful completion.
  • Perform regular maintenance on installed software.
  • Support Security Awareness Training and the Data Classification process.
  • Oversee the Data Security Program.

The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of three years of experience as a Senior System Analyst in application development and data management. A general understanding of hardware and software configurations, along with security controls, is essential.
