Loss Prevention Response Specialist
The Loss Prevention Response Specialist (LPRS) plays a crucial role within the Loss Prevention Operations team, tasked with overseeing company premises through advanced remote monitoring systems. Acting as the primary contact for internal stakeholders, the LPRS addresses incidents, ensures thorough documentation, and implements proactive strategies to mitigate loss. This position may also encompass responsibilities akin to those of a Loss Prevention Officer I at the retail level.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguard company resources and minimize losses
- Oversee designated company locations through remote surveillance
- Relay information to emergency services as needed
- Assist internal stakeholders effectively
- Compile incident reports and prepare evidence packages
- Conduct compliance assessments
- Perform telephone interviews
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience:
- Possess a provincial security worker license with a security guard or security monitor designation
- Completion of First Aid & W.H.I.M.I.S. training
- Basic proficiency in computers, networks, and security systems
- Familiarity with criminal code sections pertinent to Loss Prevention
- Understanding of retail loss prevention methodologies
- Educational background in criminology, emergency management, justice, or security management is advantageous
