District Sales Manager Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced District Sales Manager to join our team at Claire's. As a District Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and operational excellence across the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive same-store sales growth
  • Lead and develop store management teams to optimize performance and provide succession planning
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers and key partners to align result areas with Claire's business strategy, mission, and values
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to maximize profit
  • Ensure operational excellence across the district, including customer service standards

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with using a laptop
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-2 years of multi-store management or 5 years of store management experience required
  • Fluent in Canadian French and English
  • Strong understanding of mathematics and reading comprehension skills
  • Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem-solve
  • Ability to stand during scheduled shifts and maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to operate a POS system
  • Extensive travel required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as needed
