Position Title: Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned QA Engineer to enhance our team at AGDATA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the excellence of our domain-driven enterprise applications, developed with C# .NET frameworks and hosted on Service Fabric. A deep understanding of various database and storage solutions, including SQL Server, RavenDb, and Azure Storage, as well as messaging services like Service Bus and Event Hubs, is essential.   • Engaging in story refinement to clarify details and dependencies with a focus on testing
  • Collaborating effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers
  • Actively participating in retrospective meetings and pursuing process enhancements
  • Crafting and maintaining test cases, executing tests, and performing ad-hoc testing with user experience as a priority
  • Designing and implementing thorough test strategies for microservices-based applications
  • Automating test cases based on priority before the end of the sprint
  • Reviewing pull requests to ensure adherence to standards
  • Overseeing CI/CD Azure pipelines and releases for both new and existing projects
  • Monitoring Azure releases for regression bugs and environmental issues
  • Managing defect-tracking and resolution processes
  • Overseeing quality and bug reports throughout all release stages
  • Documenting responsibilities on projects and contributing to internal knowledge-sharing platforms
  • Staying informed about new testing tools and methodologies
  • Collaborating with the internal SDET community across development teams to continuously refine best practices
To excel in this role, you should...
  • Possess 3+ years of experience as an SDET
  • Have 2+ years of experience with Selenium WebDriver and Grid
  • Have 2+ years of experience testing web APIs through code
  • Demonstrate practical C# programming skills
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Be familiar with TestRail
  • Have proven experience in QA for microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Be capable of writing SQL queries for data validation
  • Be knowledgeable about NoSQL databases such as RavenDb
  • Understand test methodologies and their corresponding tools
  • Recognize errors and assess risks within applications and processes
  • Be comfortable using Visual Studio 2019+ and Git
  • Have experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Understand the ROI and risk associated with ad-hoc testing, test automation, and feature coverage
  • Possess a passion for design, development, and quality assurance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Microservice technologies, SQL, NoSQL, and Blob Storage
  • Knowledge of messaging services such as Azure Service Bus and Event Hubs
  • Familiarity with JMeter
  • Experience with Python
  • Interest in data science and/or data analytics
