Position Overview: We are in search of a seasoned Quality Assurance Engineer to enhance our team at AGDATA. The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring the quality of our domain-driven enterprise applications, developed using C# .NET frameworks and hosted on Service Fabric. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of various databases and storage solutions, including SQL Server, RavenDb, and Azure Storage, along with messaging services such as Service Bus and Event Hubs. An ideal candidate will possess an interest in methodologies for analyzing quality within extensive data sets through data science or analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in story refinement to ensure clarity and thoroughness in testing considerations Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers Actively participate in retrospective meetings and pursue process enhancements Develop and maintain test cases, executing and conducting ad-hoc testing with user experience as a priority Design and implement robust test strategies for microservices-based applications Automate high-priority test cases before the sprint concludes Review pull requests to ensure adherence to standards Oversee CI/CD Azure pipelines and releases for both new and existing projects Monitor Azure releases for regression bugs and environmental issues Manage defect tracking and resolution processes Maintain quality and bug reports throughout all release stages Document responsibilities on projects and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing platforms Stay informed about emerging testing tools and strategies Collaborate with the internal SDET community across development teams to continuously enhance best practices

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) At least 2 years of experience with Selenium WebDriver and Grid A minimum of 2 years of experience testing web APIs through code Proficient C# programming skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Familiarity with TestRail Proven experience in QA for microservices architecture and distributed systems Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities Capability to write SQL queries for data validation Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as RavenDb Knowledge of testing methodologies and their associated tools Ability to identify errors and assess risks within applications and processes Comfortable working with Visual Studio 2019+ and Git Experience with CI/CD pipelines Understanding of ROI and risk for ad-hoc testing, test automation, and feature coverage A passion for design, development, and quality assurance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with microservice technologies, SQL, NoSQL, and Blob Storage Knowledge of messaging services like Azure Service Bus and Event Hubs Experience with JMeter Experience with Python Interest in data science and/or data analytics
