Position Title: Software Design Engineer in Test III

Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer to enhance our team at AGDATA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our enterprise applications, which are built on C# .NET frameworks and deployed on Service Fabric. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of various database and storage solutions, including SQL Server, RavenDb, and Azure Storage, along with messaging services such as Service Bus and Event Hubs. A keen interest in analyzing quality within extensive data sets through data science or analytics is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in story refinement to clarify details and dependencies with a focus on testing Collaborate effectively with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers Actively participate in retrospective meetings and pursue process enhancements Develop and maintain test cases, executing and conducting ad-hoc testing with user experience in mind Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies for microservices-based applications Automate prioritized test cases before the end of the sprint Review pull requests to ensure adherence to standards Maintain CI/CD Azure pipelines and manage releases for both new and existing projects Monitor Azure releases for regression bugs and environmental issues Oversee defect tracking and resolution processes Manage quality and bug reports throughout all release stages Document responsibilities and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing platforms Stay informed about new testing tools and methodologies Collaborate with the internal SDET community to continuously improve best practices

Qualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an SDET At least 2 years of experience with Selenium WebDriver and Grid 2+ years of experience in testing web APIs through code Proficient in C# programming Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Familiarity with TestRail Proven track record in QA for microservices architecture and distributed systems Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities Ability to write SQL queries for data validation Familiarity with NoSQL databases like RavenDb Knowledge of testing methodologies and their associated tools Capacity to identify errors and assess risks within applications and processes Comfortable using Visual Studio 2019+ and Git Experience with CI/CD pipelines Understanding of ROI and risk associated with ad-hoc testing, test automation, and feature coverage Passionate about design, development, and quality assurance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Microservice technologies, SQL, NoSQL, and Blob Storage Knowledge of messaging services such as Azure Service Bus and Event Hubs Familiarity with JMeter Experience with Python Interest in data science and analytics
