Curriculum Designer for Leadership Development

Sheridan College seeks a talented Curriculum Developer to contribute to our esteemed Pilon School of Business.
We are searching for an experienced and passionate professional with expertise in leadership development to design and enhance our impactful Leadership Development course. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the learning experience for our students, ensuring they acquire valuable skills and knowledge.
Your Responsibilities- Develop engaging and effective course materials aligned with best practices and learning outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with faculty members and instructional designers to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning experience.
- Define, evaluate, and validate learning outcomes for the course, ensuring they are relevant and impactful.
- Design innovative strategies and tools for facilitating and assessing student learning, incorporating diverse teaching methodologies.
- Develop multi-media materials and alternative delivery strategies to enhance student engagement and cater to various learning styles.
- A Master's degree in Business or a related field (PhD preferred).
- Three to five years of practical experience in designing and developing course content within the higher education sector.
- A relevant certification in instructional design, educational technology, or a similar field is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in D2L, learning management systems, and multimedia tools.
