About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Instructional Designer to join our Academic Services team at triOS College Business Technology Healthcare Inc. in Mississauga, ON.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum development strategies to support the creation of high-quality educational content.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to design and develop instructional materials that align with adult learning principles.
  • Conduct needs analysis and instructional design to ensure course quality standards are met and best practices are followed.
  • Support the development of new and existing programs and courses delivered in the on-ground delivery in the College.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement effort to ensure course quality standards are met, best practices are followed, and our courses and programs continue to improve.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure Academic Services is synchronized with the business.
  • Act as a principal advisor during the creation of content for online courses.
  • Coordinate and create assessment questions to ensure effectiveness for Brightspace delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary education.
  • Two (2) or more years of business administration experience, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Two (2) or more years of course development/instructional design experience.
  • Previous experience in an adult education environment is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of instructional design and course development principles.
