Curriculum Developer, Leadership Development Course Specialist

About the Role
Sheridan College is seeking an experienced Curriculum Developer to join our team in the Pilon School of Business. As a key member of our course development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality course materials for our Leadership Development course.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop course materials that align with learning outcomes and best practices
- Collaborate with faculty members and instructional designers to craft engaging and effective learning experiences
- Ensure that course curricula are current, relevant, and reflective of best practices within the relevant professional/program disciplines
- Define, evaluate, and validate learning outcomes for the course
- Develop strategies and tools for facilitating and assessing student learning
- Develop multi-media materials and alternative delivery strategies
- Attend periodic faculty meetings
Requirements
- Masters degree in business or a related field (PhD preferred)
- Three to five years of experience in designing and developing course content, preferably within the Sheridan College community
- Relevant degree or certification in instructional design, educational technology, or a related field (asset)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency in D2L, technology, software, and multimedia tools
