About the Role:
Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Account Manager to join our team in Southern Alberta. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for implementing the direct sales process with selected Strategic Accounts within the Corteva Seed and Crop Protection business for the Southern Alberta area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct business analysis of assigned grower accounts to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Develop and execute comprehensive call strategies in collaboration with the Sales Team to position and support Corteva crop protection products with all assigned accounts.
- Deliver precision agronomy and communicate product knowledge to growers to help them achieve higher productivity.
- Negotiate and coordinate value proposition delivery to meet assigned unit and revenue targets.
- Lead the coordination of the support and sales teams to deliver on business needs analysis and provide support to strengthen relationships with customers.
- Coordinate customer activities to provide support and strengthen relationships.
- Develop value proposition to assist growers to achieve higher productivity.
- Meet assigned unit and revenue targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Business, Marketing required, will consider other degrees with related field sales experience.
- 7 years of Ag sales or field agronomy experience, managing and coaching individuals.
- Experience working with strategic accounts in local geography.
- Solid understanding of agronomic cultural practices.
