District Sales Leader, Northern Alberta Territory Manager

About the Role
Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Sales Leader to join our team in Northern Alberta. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Territory Managers and Agronomists to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
- Develop and implement area strategic and tactical plans that align with company goals and policies.
- Provide input into sales strategies and programs, and execute plans to achieve results.
- Provide leadership, vision, and management to sales staff to drive business growth and success.
- Responsible for creating a business plan for the area, executing the plan, and tracking key operational indexes, including revenue and margin, market share, penetration, concentration, retention, and cross-sell of product lines.
- Conduct analysis of sales metrics, interpret data, and apply recommendations to drive business growth and success.
- Responsible for executing a plan to achieve sales metrics through alignment of resources.
- Facilitate and support demand creation by utilizing competitive intelligence data and applying appropriate financial models.
- Stay informed of competitive products, practices, and strategies.
- Responsible for safety and core values.
- Continuously develop professionally by remaining current with new technologies, management innovations, sales management, and sales force motivation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Ten (10) years of Ag sales experience, including management and development of employees and teams.
- Knowledge or training in a specialized, technical, or professional discipline, such as Agronomy, Plant Science, Marketing, agri-business, Business Administration, or related field.
- Demonstrated knowledge of selling methodology, tools, and techniques.
