Position Title: Cloud Technology Leader Reports To: Senior Technology Manager, Core Infrastructure Department: IT Infrastructure Term: Permanent Full-Time

Work Arrangements: This position offers a hybrid work model. You will be required to work in our office a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, along with an additional fifth (5th) assigned day each month. You are encouraged to spend more time in the office if desired, and certain roles may necessitate a higher in-office presence.

The Opportunity: Accoravillage is expanding, and we are seeking a Cloud Technology Leader to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role will oversee and guide a diverse team responsible for identifying, recommending, developing, implementing, and supporting IT solutions that align with our strategic and operational business objectives. The leader will also manage a portfolio of technology assets within a cloud platform, collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders on the design and development of systems and applications that may interact with other platforms. Furthermore, this position will establish and drive the technical strategy and roadmaps for the technology assets within the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and manage cloud-based platforms for the organization.
  • Collaborate with various IT professionals and teams to ensure our cloud computing platforms effectively meet organizational and client needs.
  • Own and manage Platform Assets.
  • Define the technical vision and roadmap for assigned assets to enhance business outcomes.
  • Oversee the technical roadmap and ensure milestones are achieved by closely working with business, development, and operations teams.
  • Monitor and advance the technical health and performance of assigned assets.
  • Collaborate with architects to develop the technology capability roadmap for assigned assets.
  • Manage vendor platforms and maintain overall vendor relationships.
  • Lead solution development practices and processes.
  • Guide the team to deliver high-quality solutions in a sustainable and optimized manner.
  • Identify, document, and continuously improve end-to-end software development, quality, delivery, and support processes.
  • Ensure that technical standards, guidelines, and principles are adhered to by the team.
  • Own the technology KPIs and prioritize tasks for assigned assets.
  • Manage team talent, including hiring, coaching, recognizing, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Monitor team productivity, quality, and morale.
  • Lead the team through process implementation and changes.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant business technology experience.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role, or demonstrated leadership capabilities.
  • A post-secondary degree or equivalent education/experience in computer science, computer systems engineering, or software engineering.
  • Current cloud platform certifications.
  • Experience in designing, securing, and maintaining IaaS/PaaS cloud platform technologies.
  • Familiarity with automation, orchestration, and system configuration tools (e.g., PowerShell, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud networking and database management.
  • A strong focus on client experience.
  • A growth mindset and a passion for innovation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Agility, flexibility, and critical reasoning abilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, capable of breaking down complex enterprise needs into implementable solution plans.
  • Ability to analyze and review solutions for quality assurance.
