Technology Manager, Cloud (Azure)

**Join Equitable's IT Infrastructure Team**

We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Manager, Cloud to lead our team in designing and managing cloud-based platforms for our organization. As a key member of our IT Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for driving technical strategy and roadmaps for our cloud assets, ensuring they meet the needs of our organization and clients.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design and manage cloud-based platforms for the organization
* Collaborate with IT professionals and teams to ensure cloud computing platforms meet organizational needs
* Own platform assets, including:
+ Setting technical vision and roadmap for assigned assets
+ Monitoring and advancing technical health and performance of assigned assets
+ Managing vendor relationships and platform lifecycles
* Lead solution development practices and processes, including:
+ Enabling and guiding teams to deliver high-quality solutions
+ Identifying and implementing end-to-end software development, quality, delivery, and support processes
+ Ensuring technical standards and guidelines are upheld by the team
* Manage team talent, including:
+ Setting direction and vision for the team
+ People management, including hiring, coaching, recognizing, mentoring, and performance managing team members

**Requirements:**

* 5+ years of hands-on relevant business technology experience
* Previous experience in team leadership/management role or equivalent demonstrated leadership capabilities
* Post-secondary degree or combination of equivalent education/experience in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering
* Contemporary cloud platform certifications
* Experience with designing, securing, and maintaining IaaS/PaaS cloud platform technologies
* Automation, orchestration, and system configuration tools (e.g. PowerShell, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, etc.)
* Containerization capabilities (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
* Source code management (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git)
* Cloud networking and database skills
* Focus on client experience
* Growth mindset and passion for innovation
* Interpersonal skills, including communication and negotiation skills
* Agility, flexibility, and critical reasoning
* Exceptional organizational skills
