About the Role

The Government of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to fill the position of Manager, Accommodations and Administrative Services. This role will play a critical part in the Corporate Services Branch, overseeing all accommodations functions of the Ministry, including the maintenance of the Ministry Strategic Accommodation Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead strategy implementation by supporting the development, direction, and execution of strategic planning and operational plans.
  • Enable individual performance of individuals on your team, ensuring adequate resources and motivation to achieve success.
  • Ensure safety and employee health and well-being are a priority and hold yourself and others accountable for their behaviors and work achievements.
  • Manage teams and relationships by creating an environment of trust, equity, and strong workplace culture.
  • Facilitate collaboration by creating and maintaining effective and valuable work relationships, making connections between various programs and initiatives for organizational efficiency.
  • Manage information and administration of policies and procedures.
  • Have strong communication, problem-solving, and management skills to provide collaboration and leadership for internal and external clients with respect to all Ministry accommodations and human resource support needs.
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize a large volume of tasks and projects with conflicting and changing priorities to meet strict deadlines.
  • Instruct, coach, and encourage others to enhance their job performance and further develop their skills.
Requirements
  • A post-secondary degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or an equivalency of experience and training demonstrated by a history of accomplishment in management.
  • Strong knowledge of provincial government structures, decision-making processes, and priorities.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
