Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Hotel Dene and Conference Centre. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing room assignments, and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests, assign rooms, and ensure accurate and efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to guest inquiries, and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Room Management: Maintain accurate records of room assignments, vacancies, and reservations, and ensure that rooms are cleaned and prepared for incoming guests.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide information to guests and staff members in a clear and concise manner.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and photocopying, to support the smooth operation of the front desk.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure that guest needs are met and that the hotel runs efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
