Company Overview:
TalentSphere Staffing Solutions is collaborating with a premier manufacturer specializing in industrial air extraction and filtration systems. We are currently seeking a new Regional Sales Manager for the Ontario region.


Position Summary:
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized consultative salesperson who possesses mechanical aptitude, enjoys client interactions, and excels at fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients.


Success in this position requires the ability to think critically, devise strategies to navigate challenges, and maintain a focus on achieving sales goals.


Key Responsibilities:
The primary objective is to meet budgeted sales and profitability targets by establishing a top-tier industrial reseller network that drives sales and market share across the company's product offerings.

  • Oversee the territory to ensure comprehensive coverage across designated product lines.
  • Demonstrate strong awareness of the industrial market and take accountability for the company's profitability and success on each project.


Sales Management:
Utilize Microsoft Dynamics CRM to manage the sales pipeline effectively.

  • Deliver bi-monthly presentations to management regarding regional performance metrics.
  • Become proficient in utilizing sales support resources and train partners on all relevant tools and programs.
  • Maintain competitive pricing and discount levels for resellers based on established program criteria.


Forecasting and Planning:
Generate monthly sales forecasts and implement plans to achieve targeted sales outcomes.

  • Adhere to established processes and procedures throughout all business phases.
  • Provide training and consultation to resellers to drive anticipated annual sales growth.
  • Expand market share annually by enhancing existing niche partner networks and acquiring new partners to fill regional gaps.


Collaboration:
Work closely with resellers to engage with products and programs that foster sustainable and profitable growth.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support activities aimed at creating sustainable profitability.


Qualifications:

  • Proficient in consultative selling techniques, needs assessment, and strategic planning.
  • Experience with technical products through distribution channels.
  • Mechanical aptitude is essential.
  • Track record of success in selling to direct manufacturing, OEMs, and National Accounts is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in managing extensive territories and expanding existing business accounts.
  • Self-driven with a strong desire to achieve results.
  • Willingness to travel overnight; initial travel may be around 50%, decreasing to 30% in subsequent years.
  • Customer-facing role four days a week, with one day dedicated to home office tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and passport is required.


Compensation:
This position offers a competitive compensation package, including salary, commissions, mileage reimbursement, a pension plan, and a comprehensive benefits package. Total estimated earnings are approximately $120,000.
