Join Our Team as a Lead Research Strategist

Are you driven by a passion for research and consulting, aiming to address pressing issues such as housing, systemic change, and the transition to renewable energy? 21FSP Advisory Inc. is on the lookout for a full-time Lead Research Strategist to enhance our vibrant team.

The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding research and advisory services, supporting our initiatives for a diverse range of clients, including governmental bodies, non-profit organizations, private enterprises, and Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to uncover valuable insights for our clients.
  • Analyze research outcomes and synthesize findings into clear, concise reports and impactful visual presentations.
  • Look beyond the data to identify potential future implications and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee research phases of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables such as reports and presentations.
  • Contribute to the development of customized approaches for project execution.
  • Engage in business development initiatives and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

Advanced education (PhD or PhD Candidate preferred, with a completed thesis-based Master's degree at minimum) in fields such as social sciences, humanities, economics, business, public administration, journalism, or organizational design is required. A focus on areas like labor, systems transformation, or economic development is preferred.

We seek candidates with:

  • Exceptional writing abilities, adaptable to various contexts.
  • Proven secondary research skills, including literature reviews and case study analysis.
  • Strong primary research capabilities, with experience in qualitative and quantitative analysis, particularly using Excel.
  • Project and team management expertise.
  • Previous experience in professional services project environments.
  • Experience collaborating with Indigenous and other equity-deserving groups, including community engagement.
