You will lead the design, planning, and execution of ecological research focused on aquatic resources and fisheries.

Summarizing and interpreting data to draw conclusions regarding environmental conditions and utilizing these findings alongside scientific literature to formulate defensible assessments about the state of the environment and the potential impacts of expected natural and human-induced changes.

Documenting these findings in comprehensive reports and presenting the outcomes to clients, regulatory bodies, Indigenous groups, and stakeholders as part of the regulatory and approval processes.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will take the lead on specific assignments, follow guidance on others, and collaborate with your peers to enhance work efficiency and quality.

A Ph.D. in aquatic or fisheries science is required.

Strong analytical and technical editing skills are essential, along with the ability to ensure the delivery of high-quality reports and proposals.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, excellence, and ethical standards are crucial. Experience in the mining sector is advantageous.
