Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Security Officer to join our team at Paladin Security. As a Healthcare Security Officer, you will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at various healthcare facilities in Calgary and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide access control and monitor restricted areas of the facility.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies, including alarm activations and medical emergencies.
  • Conduct regular patrols to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties, including walking up to 20km/shift.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts on weekends.
