Key Responsibilities- Access Control: Provide secure access to authorized personnel and monitor restricted areas.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency calls for assistance.
- Patrols and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks and security breaches.
- Investigations: Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents that occur during your duties.
- Patient Safety: Monitor patient safety and document/report incidents as required.
- Communication Skills: Possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven de-escalation skills.
- Confidentiality: Understand the importance of confidentiality in the workplace.
- Physical Demands: Be able to perform all physical aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift, walking up/down stairs, and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
- Availability: Available to work overnight shifts on weekends.
- Certifications: Hold a valid AB Security license or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security.
