A typical day for a Healthcare Security Officer:

Your responsibilities will vary depending on your assigned location, but you can anticipate engaging in the following activities:

  • Ensure controlled access to and from the facility, including restricted zones.
  • Observe and react to incidents detected on the premises, including surveillance footage.
  • Conduct thorough patrols of the premises, checking for potential hazards such as unsecured doors, obstructed exits, mechanical malfunctions, hazardous materials, and security violations.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and emergency requests for assistance.
  • Investigate and document any anomalies encountered during your duties.
  • Safeguard patient welfare, recording and reporting incidents as necessary.

Our leading Healthcare managers offer 24/7 support to our team members, focusing on proactively reducing risks and providing real-time guidance during incidents.
