About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Security Professional to join our Healthcare Division at Paladin Security. As a Security Professional, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients, staff, and visitors in our healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Access Control: Provide secure access to authorized personnel and monitor restricted areas.
  • Incident Response: Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency calls for assistance.
  • Patrols and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks and security breaches.
  • Investigations: Investigate and report any irregularities or incidents that occur during your duties.
  • Patient Safety: Monitor patient safety and document/report incidents as required.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and proven de-escalation skills.
  • Confidentiality: Understand the importance of confidentiality in the workplace.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to perform all physical aspects of the job, including walking up to 20km/shift, walking up/down stairs, and pushing/pulling 30-pound doors.
  • Availability: Available to work overnight shifts on weekends.
  • Certifications: Hold a valid AB Security license or be willing to obtain one prior to commencing work with Paladin Security.
