About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at River View Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Activities
    • Oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Inspect and Maintain Facilities
    • Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
    • Identify and address any maintenance or repair issues promptly.
  • Lead and Develop Team Members
    • Supervise and mentor a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and productivity.
  • Manage Schedules and Resources
    • Develop and manage housekeeping schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
    • Monitor and control housekeeping budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or facilities management role.
  • Work Environment
    • Hotel, motel, or resort environment
