About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Our North BNB and Rentals. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors, as well as making adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, and debris, and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Supervision and Coordination: Supervise other workers and coordinate with contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment.
  • Transportation and Travel: Ensure that all necessary transportation and travel arrangements are made, including valid driver's license and vehicle maintenance.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work in all weather conditions, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 36 to 42 hours per week.
