About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at BROSOHO Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Training: Supervise and train cooking staff, including specialist chefs, chefs, and cooks, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Menu Planning and Quality Control: Plan menus and ensure that food meets our quality standards, taking into account dietary requirements and preferences.
  • Culinary Operations: Assist in the preparation and cooking of complete meals and specialty foods for events, including banquets and special functions.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise cooks and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
