Job Summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Manager to lead the marketing planning and execution in support of our key brand. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive business growth and increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Commercial Operations to establish revenue forecasts and develop marketing plans that align with business objectives.
  • Maximize the impact of critical customer touchpoints, including Patient Support Programs, Field Force, Tele-sales, and Digital channels.
  • Manage external agency partners to optimize the delivery of promotional tactics and materials.
  • Assist in the design and planning of communication plans to reach the right customers at the right time through the right channel mix.
  • Develop and execute marketing analysis and insight development/action planning.
  • Assist in planning and implementation of quantitative and qualitative market research initiatives to develop market understanding.
  • Share insights gained from internal and external sources to inform marketing strategies.
  • Develop and execute the brand strategy, including competitor analysis and segmentation.
  • Collect, interpret, and disseminate competitor information to inform marketing decisions.
  • Establish and lead positioning for the brand, including developing key brand messages.
  • Assist in planning, design, and organization of key promotional stakeholder communication platforms.
  • Lead Advisory Boards with key customers and establish good rapport with top opinion leaders.
  • Assist in training initiatives and regular team meetings as required.
  • Communicate effectively within the sales and marketing, medical team on pertinent information.
  • Develop and track KPIs to measure marketing effectiveness.
  • Cross-functional alignment and buy-in amongst colleagues, brand teams, and Business Units.
  • Active participation in supply discussions to ensure appropriate levels of supply and distribution are attained.
  • Develop training on key materials with support of a training consultant.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of life sciences, such as medicine, nursing, physical therapy, psychology, pharmacy, biology, and medical technology.
  • Preferably additional marketing or business training; MBA ideal.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry as a Brand Manager, Sales Representative, or Sales Supervisor.
  • 3-5 years of Brand Management experience, including launching key brands in a local environment.
  • Soft skills: organizational and analytical skills, ability to work in a specialist area, excellent communication skills, digital marketing/market research/selling skills desirable, acting for change and able to cooperate transversely, striving for results, committed to customers, able to motivate and empower workgroups, self-awareness.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skillsets essential.
  • Experience working with PAAB regulations, IMC, and local compliance agencies.
